The Conquest of Persia
Unfortunately there has been many misconceptions amongst people because of the way the western and Shia portray lies about the conquest of فارس (Persia). We will clear those misconceptions based on the truth and evidence presented from authentic sources.
Pre-hijra
Before the message of Islam was presented to the Persians majority of them were Zoroastrians who claimed to be monotheists but worshiped fire and believed in a man named Zoroaster who they claimed was a Prophet. Even before the birth of Muhammad () the Arabs and Persians had good relationships. The Persians had ruled Yemen and basically most of the southern part of Arabia for centuries. Many of the Arabs were idol pagan worshipers just like the Zoroastrians of Persia.

The Persian Empire known as the Sassanian Empire reigned from Western Europe till the lands of India. Due to this reason they would always be at war with the Roman Empire constantly. The Persians had occupied many places in Arabia which is today parts of Yemen, Oman and the U.A.E.
The Message
The Prophet Muhammad () sent the Emperor of Persia Kisra (Khusrau) a letter by inviting him to accept the message of Islam:
"In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. From Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah to Kisra, the great King of Persia. |
Narrated `Abdullah bin `Abbas:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) sent his letter to Kisra and ordered his messenger to hand it over to the Governor of Bahrain who was to hand it over to Kisra. So, when Kisra read the letter he tore it. Sa`id bin Al- Musaiyab said, "The Prophet (ﷺ) then invoked Allah to disperse them with full dispersion, (destroy them Kisra and his followers severely)" (Sahih al-Bukhari 2939).
Kisra was arrogant and tore the letter into pieces, saying: "My slave dares to write to me like this!" He took it as an insult that the name of Allah and His prophet had been written before his own. When his reply was conveyed to the Prophet, he said: "Even so shall Allah shatter his kingdom to pieces." Kisra wrote to Badhan, his governor in Yemen, to have the Prophet sent to him in Ctesiphon (capital of Persia). Badhan sent two of his men to Madinah to accomplish this task. When they arrived in Madinah, the Prophet told them that his own son had killed Kisra. The prophecy came true exactly as foretold by him.

The Conquest
Abu Bakrah said:
"Allah restrained me with something that I heard from the Messenger of Allah(s.a.w). When Kisra was destroyed, he said: 'Who did they have to succeed him?' They said: 'His daughter.' So the Prophet(s.a.w) said: 'A people will never succeed who give their leadership to a woman.'" He said: "So when 'Aishah arrived - meaning in Al-Basrah - I remembered the saying of Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), so Allah restrained me by it." Abu Eisa said: This Hadith is [Hasan] Sahih. (Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2262).
