Muzaffar Muhiuddin Muhammad Aurangzeb Alamgir also known as Aurangzeb Alamgir (meaning Ornament of the throne) was probably the true legacy of Sher Shah Suri and Islam Shah Suri. As a young boy he was closely attached to Islam, became a Hafiz of Al-Quran and studied the Science of Hadith at a very young age. He always prayed 5 times a day and recited the Quran. He committed all of his tuition and studies money to Islamic related subjects and even wrote one of his own Quran’s by hand. To make sure that his inhabitants understood Islam, he created the Fatwa Alamgiri, (The royal decrees of Alamgir) so that they could follow Islam in a much more easy and simple manner. It is Historically Documented that he had MORE Muslim and Non-Muslim Advisors in his court, furthermore than Akbar as well. For a fact, he did kill Hindus and Sikhs (like Jahangir), but his reasons were CLEAR. The Hindus and Sikhs had their OWN governments in their Holy places and completely ignored the decrees of the Mughals, which OBVIOUSLY meant war, which is why he killed them.
